WHO WE ARE

Freedom Vineyard exists to love God and serve others.  God is always at work bringing new life and freedom.  We want to partner with Him and the agencies within our town, seeing our whole community come alive.

We are proud to be a part of the Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland family, and so we share the "Vineyard DNA" and are:

DOWN TO EARTH - there are no superstars within the Vineyard - everybody gets to come as they are, serve and participate in the life of the community -  we call this "everybody gets to play".
FUN
- the fruit of following Jesus means that we live with joy in our lives.  So our community is a fun place to be and full of hope.
COMPASSIONATE
- since Jesus cares deeply about those for whom daily life can be a struggle, to follow Jesus means providing practical support, love and care to those who our culture can easily overlook.
PASSIONATE ABOUT WORSHIP
- life doesn't come by knowing facts about God - we need to encounter the real Jesus on a personal level - and one important way we do that is to worship him passionately and humbly.

EMPOWERED - we know that the Holy Spirit is present in us, and by being obedient to His leading we will see people healed of sicknesses and set free from negative patterns and influences in their lives.
SERVANT LEADERS
- whilst none of us are perfect, leadership roles are entrusted to those who demonstrate good character and are motivated to serve the community, rather than build their own brand or reputation.
DIVERSE
- our town is a very diverse community, which is something we love.  Since God has created everything we can see, everyone has dignity and value and is welcome in our community.
BIBLE BELIEVING
- we humbly and lovingly accept that the Bible is our standard for life and understanding the truth of who God is and what his plans are for our world.

OUR TEAM

Since we're at the beginning of this adventure, the team is quite small at the moment, but watch this space as our team will grow.

Dave grew up in the area whilst Suzanne is from County Durham. Suzanne first came to Dartford on a gap year in 1989, met Dave and stayed.
They are married with 3 teenage daughters and live in East Dartford.
Dave loves Belgian beer and cycling and Suzanne loves trips to theatre and Groupon deals. They both enjoy boardgames, trips away, camping and time with family and friends over food and drink.

Amanda originally comes from Teeside, whilst Glen was born in Dartford.  They have two teenage daughters and have lived in Dartford since 2000.
Amanda is a vocalist and pianist/keyboard player, and she also enjoys pilates, going out with friends and volunteering in the community.  Glen loves being part of the Parkrun and So Lets Go Running community groups.

All four of them have served alongside each other in a Vineyard church for 20 years and felt the call to stay in Dartford and are excited to be serving together in leading Freedom Vineyard.
